Principal Software Engineer – Network, Network Security

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with product managers to define features and create precise functional specifications.

• Partner with the frontend team to establish API contracts for backend services.

• Address critical field escalations and ensure resolution.

• Develop prototypes that serve as precursors to features listed on the product roadmap.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in enterprise architecture, demonstrating hands-on leadership across business, application, data, and technology domains.

• At least 5 years of experience working with commercial software using Golang/C/C++/Java.

• Over 2 years of experience in working with containers and microservices (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes environments).

• Preferred experience in data plane operations involving Forward/Reverse proxies.

• Comprehensive understanding of various networking protocols (e.g., HTTP/HTTPS, TCP/IP).

• Strong design skills focusing on principles of reuse, modularity, scalability, etc.

• Profound understanding of data structures and algorithms.

• Solid knowledge of Microservice architecture, AWS cloud infrastructure, as well as SQL and NoSQL databases.

• Mandatory experience in the Network Security domain.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
