Principal Software Engineer – Full Stack

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and execute full-stack architectural patterns through direct, hands-on involvement.

• Create architecture decision records (ADRs) based on functional code, lead design evaluations with active prototyping, and personally develop reference implementations that teams can utilize.

• Contribute high-quality code to the most intricate features, platform capabilities, and performance-critical systems throughout the stack.

• Create and sustain shared libraries, API patterns, and observability tools (Grafana, DORA metrics).

• Guide senior and mid-level engineers through pair programming, hands-on code reviews, and collaborative design discussions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.

• Required: Expert-level full-stack engineering skills, including production delivery across distributed systems, API design (REST, GraphQL, event-driven), and proficiency in modern frontend frameworks (React, TypeScript).

• Experience with cloud platform architecture on Azure, AWS, and/or GCP at an enterprise level.

• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) and DevSecOps methodologies.

• Proven technical leadership capabilities: ensuring quality through functional code, ADR documentation supported by implementation, and design evaluations rooted in direct contribution.

• Knowledge of observability and reliability engineering, including Grafana, DORA metrics, performance debugging, and management of production incidents.

• Preferred: Experience with Palantir Foundry, Databricks, or comparable data platform integration.

• Understanding of Kafka or event streaming architecture.

• Proficiency in AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot Enterprise) to enhance individual engineering productivity.

• Background in security architecture and CIAM integration patterns.
