Expand both the team and the product area.
β’ Define and lead the transition from rapid prototyping to a sustainable, production-ready product stack that includes observability, incident response, and operational excellence.
β’ Collaborate with staff engineers to create domain ownership and set technical standards within the team.
β’ Direct the design of systems that handle unstructured vulnerability reports from enterprise clients, eliminate duplicate findings, and present clear signals to the libraries remediation team.
β’ Identify and eliminate technical debt that arose during the team's fast-paced prototyping phase.
β’ Act as a strategic partner for build-vs-buy decisions, capacity planning, and long-term architectural strategies.
β’ Contribute to a talent acquisition strategy that attracts engineers capable of delivering high output without experiencing burnout.
β’ Proven experience in establishing technical direction for complex, production-oriented distributed systems that elevate the capabilities of the entire team.
β’ Strong proficiency in Go, with required experience in GCP and Terraform; engineers skilled in multiple languages who can quickly adapt to new technology stacks are encouraged to apply.
β’ Capability to work with messy, unstructured data, validating, deduplicating, and extracting insights from real-world enterprise inputs.
β’ Experience guiding teams from rapid prototype development to maintainable systems, including monitoring, alerting, service level objectives (SLOs), and on-call responsibilities.
β’ Experience in building systems that accommodate various customer types with distinct entitlements, access levels, and interaction patterns.
β’ Comfort in operating across the entire backend stack including workflows, data pipelines, and APIs with minimal guidance.
β’ Having insights on cost-effective AI utilization and resource management is an added advantage.
β’ Previous experience in security-related domains such as supply chain, vulnerability management, or cloud security is preferred.
