Principal Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Complete technical oversight of a high-revenue web platform and mobile application

• Design architecture and develop long-term technical strategies

• Implement server-side rendering pipelines utilizing Node.js, Fastify 5, and React 19

• Manage data layers utilizing MySQL and BigQuery

• Oversee GCP infrastructure, including Cloud Run, Cloud Build, and Global Load Balancer

• Integrate ad-tech solutions such as Google Ad Manager, GTM, GTag, and GPT.js

• Optimize performance at scale, where every millisecond is critical

• Maintain and enhance ML pipelines for ad-tech efficiency

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in Node.js with TypeScript in production environments

• Experience with React in server-side rendering contexts

• Knowledge of MySQL, including database design, query optimization, and ORM utilization

• Familiarity with BigQuery for querying and managing large datasets

• Practical experience with GCP, particularly in Cloud Run, Cloud Build, Cloud SQL, and Load Balancing; GCP certification is a valuable asset.

• Background in the ad-tech industry, encompassing ad serving, yield optimization, and programmatic advertising

• Experience in affiliate marketing, especially with Anura and Everflow

• Understanding of Cloudflare, including CDN configuration, caching strategies, and Workers

• Knowledge of Fastify, particularly Fastify 5 patterns

• Experience with Flutter for mobile application development

• Proficiency in Golang or Rust for high-performance service development

• Familiarity with machine learning applied to ad-tech optimization (excluding LLMs or agents)

• Experience in DeFi, cryptocurrency, NFTs, blockchain, fintech, or healthcare sectors
