Principal Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the design, development, and enhancement of comprehensive full stack solutions.

• Take ownership of and drive the evolution of our enterprise GraphQL API platform.

• Architect and create contemporary frontend applications utilizing React and Next.js.

• Collaborate with product owners and business stakeholders.

• Establish and uphold engineering standards.

• Lead and shape architectural discussions throughout the organization.

• Mentor and guide senior, mid-level, and junior developers.

• Engage with various data layers including MS SQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle DB.

• Propel enhancements to CI/CD pipelines.

• Identify and advocate for the integration of AI and emerging technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of professional experience in software engineering.

• Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Extensive experience with React and Next.js.

• Strong expertise in Node.js.

• In-depth experience with GraphQL and REST API design.

• Solid grasp of API architecture.

• Practical experience with relational databases (MS SQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle DB).

• Proficiency in Docker.

• Familiarity with event-driven architecture.

• Knowledge of API gateway technologies and microservices architecture.

• Proven capability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
