Principal Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and implement software application deployments.

• Establish comprehensive CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment processes.

• Develop and execute automated testing protocols to guarantee stable and error-free deployments.

• Facilitate DevOps initiatives by automating manual release and build operations.

• Create and oversee infrastructure automation and cloud environments (AWS, Azure).

• Educate IT and development teams on best practices for infrastructure automation.

• Monitor and uphold software security, performance, and service level agreements (SLAs).

• Provide Tier III support and ensure optimal application performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

• At least 8+ years of professional experience in software development.

• Demonstrated, hands-on proficiency with .NET, C#, and extensive experience with ASP.NET MVC at a senior or principal level.

• Strong foundation in SQL, PL/SQL, and Postgres, focusing on backend databases.

• Experience in leading and managing Software Engineering teams, including mentoring engineers, promoting technical excellence, and supervising project delivery.

• Proven ability to build, coach, and develop high-performing engineering teams in a collaborative setting.

• Experience in requirement analysis and writing unit test cases.

• Capability to thrive in Agile development environments.

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins) is beneficial but not mandatory.

• Exceptional documentation and communication skills.

• Experience in regulated industries (e.g., pharmaceuticals, healthcare) is an advantage.
