This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Manage the comprehensive development of radar sensing architectures.
• Collaborate closely with hardware engineers, embedded systems engineers, software developers, product managers, and key stakeholders.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Conduct design reviews and partner with design and development teams to enforce rigorous Design for Cost (DfX) practices.
• Offer technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
• Execute RF system lineup analyses to ensure that designs comply with industry standards.
• Diagnose complex RF/mmWave design challenges.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE/MSEE) or a related discipline (Ph.D. preferred).
• Over 15 years of relevant industry experience in RF hardware design.
• In-depth knowledge of RF/mmWave hardware design principles.
• Expert-level proficiency in schematic design, layout, and EM simulation workflows utilizing Cadence Allegro/Capture, Ansys HFSS, and Keysight ADS.
• Proficient in Tx/Rx specification flow-down, linearity, noise analysis, and IC/package co-design for high-frequency modules.
• Experience scripting in Python for automation of testing processes.
• Practical experience with probe stations, spectrum analyzers, and anechoic chambers for both conducted and radiated (OTA) characterization at mmWave frequencies.
• Familiarity with module packaging technologies.
