Principal Research Scientist – Clinical Research

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Establish, lead, and implement the research and publication strategy for Headway’s Clinical Research team.

• Expand the clinical research capabilities at Headway.

• Create quarterly roadmaps for the research team and supervise the execution of research in partnership with leadership.

• Manage projects from initial concept through to execution.

• Articulate and promote the vision for clinical research.

• Engage with senior leadership and have the opportunity to directly impact strategy and growth.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in health services research, clinical epidemiology, or health economics research.

• Proven track record in leading projects and navigating the complete peer review publication process.

• An advanced degree in a research-related discipline.

• Experience with patient health outcomes, health economic outcomes, and patient and provider satisfaction metrics.

• Extensive experience with real-world healthcare data, including health insurance claims and EHR data.

• Strong foundation in experimentation methodologies.

• Proficient technical skills in SQL and Python/R.

• Significant expertise in data analysis and analytics.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
