This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Actively shape the product vision using a robust, user-focused design methodology that aligns with business objectives.
• Collaborate to create and implement a design roadmap that reflects product priorities and delivers customer value.
• Transform intricate, data-rich product specifications into straightforward user journeys, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs.
• Assume full responsibility for design results, including the establishment of success metrics and evaluation of post-launch effects.
• Play a key role in the advancement of AI-driven features and user experiences.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of the design system to maintain consistency and scalability across the platform.
• Lead the design process from identifying problems to delivering solutions, ensuring quality and usability that enhance engagement and adoption.
• Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Data teams to provide seamless user experiences.
• Design and launch intuitive interfaces for complex, data-oriented features and AI-driven modules.
• Continuously explore new AI capabilities to enhance speed and quality.
• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs utilizing contemporary design tools.
• Analyze and significantly improve key product metrics through rapid design iterations and experiments.
• Assist Product and Commercial teams by providing design assets for launches and feature updates.
• Serve as a principal design leader within the team, establishing standards for quality, consistency, and best practices.
• Mentor and guide junior designers, offering regular feedback, direction, and support in UX/UI development.
• Cultivate a culture of ongoing learning, design excellence, and user-focused thinking.
• Aid in the onboarding and development of new design team members as the team expands.
• Clearly communicate design concepts, rationale, and decisions to stakeholders.
• Champion the user at every phase of the product lifecycle.
• Stay closely connected to customers through participation in interviews, testing, product advisory groups, and collaboration with customer-facing teams.
• Track post-launch performance and user behavior to guide ongoing improvements.
• Represent design within the organization and contribute to fostering a strong design culture.
• At least 5 years of experience in designing UX/UI for SaaS platforms, preferably in Life Sciences, Healthcare, or complex SaaS products.
• Demonstrated ability to lead the end-to-end design of a complete SaaS platform, including redesigns and AI-powered features.
• A compelling portfolio showcasing user-centered design, problem-solving capabilities, and visual design proficiency.
• Experience in designing complex, data-driven applications and analytics platforms.
• Proficiency with design tools such as Figma (or similar) and AI tools, including prototyping and design systems.
• Strong grasp of UX principles, interaction design, and usability best practices.
• Experience in conducting user research, usability testing, and translating findings into design enhancements.
• Excellent skills in cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management.
• Ability to effectively communicate design decisions and influence stakeholders.
• Self-motivated individual capable of working independently and refining design processes.
