Principal Platform Engineer

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and sustain cloud infrastructure with elastic scaling capabilities.

• Develop automated pipelines for the training and deployment of machine learning models.

• Integrate observability tools to monitor model performance effectively.

• Work collaboratively with engineering teams to ensure seamless operations.

• Oversee system health and deploy machine learning monitoring tools.

• Roll out tools that empower teams to monitor their own workloads.

• Take part in an on-call rotation for compliance management purposes.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8 to 10+ years of experience in DevOps or Platform Engineering, with at least 2 years focused on production machine learning workloads.

• Extensive experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Kubernetes.

• Strong proficiency in Istio and Kong.

• Advanced skills in Terraform.

• Experience managing enterprise-level identity and secrets.

• Proven track record of operating Airflow in a production environment.

• Comfortable managing Cloud SQL, BigQuery, and in-cluster datastores.

• Upper-intermediate proficiency in spoken and written English.
