Principal Penetration Tester – Offensive Security Team Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Lead and expand the organization's offensive security and penetration testing initiatives.

• Actively participate in and contribute to penetration testing projects across diverse areas.

• Create and assess high-quality technical reports that include actionable remediation recommendations.

• Develop and refine testing methodologies and quality benchmarks.

• Promote continuous enhancement of offensive security skills and assessment techniques.

• Recruit, mentor, and oversee a high-achieving pentesting team.

• Act as a trusted technical consultant for clients regarding offensive security threats.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related technical field — or equivalent proven experience.

• Over 10 years in cybersecurity with a **strong, sustained emphasis on hands-on penetration testing and offensive security**.

• Demonstrated success in **personally conducting** penetration tests across various technology sectors, rather than just supervising them.

• Proven experience in leading or establishing penetration testing teams or offensive security practices.

• Ability to function as an individual contributor on technical projects while also fulfilling leadership roles.

• Experience interacting directly with enterprise clients and executive stakeholders.

• Previous experience in dynamic, agile, or startup-oriented environments is highly preferred.
