Principal Front End Architect

📋 Description

• Lead the advancement and refinement of frontend architecture and standards for our Angular and React applications.

• Outline, document, and enforce frontend architectural principles across the organization.

• Create and sustain a unified design system and frontend platform strategy to ensure consistent user experiences.

• Guarantee adherence to best practices, reusable patterns, and cross-framework consistency in Angular and React.

• Provide guidance on framework coexistence, migration, and modernization strategies.

• Establish clear standards for performance, accessibility (WCAG), observability, and automated testing.

• Collaborate closely with Product Management, UX Design, and Backend Engineering to design seamless end-to-end user flows.

• Advocate for UI, UX, and platform-level enhancements by influencing product and engineering roadmaps.

• Mentor and support engineers and frontend leads across various teams.

• Represent frontend architecture and UI strategy in cross-organizational technical forums and architecture reviews.

• Propel the adoption and contribution to shared UI libraries, components, and standards.

• Integrate AI-driven UX patterns, including intelligent recommendations, guided workflows, contextual insights, and adaptive UI behaviors.

• Establish guidelines for responsible AI usage in frontend experiences, emphasizing performance, accessibility, and ethical UX.

• Define patterns that support human-in-the-loop UX, transparency, auditability, and feedback in AI-powered interfaces.

• Promote AI-assisted frontend development practices, such as code generation, refactoring, testing, accessibility checks, and documentation.

• Accelerate delivery while ensuring quality through design-to-code and component generation workflows, utilizing AI effectively.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Frontend Architect or in a comparable leadership position.

• Profound hands-on expertise in modern frontend frameworks, particularly Angular and React.

• Strong UI/UX sensibility with a proven ability to convert user needs and designs into scalable technical solutions.

• Experience in developing and scaling shared design systems and UI platforms within complex environments.

• Comprehensive understanding of frontend performance optimization, accessibility standards, and testing strategies.

• Proficient at leading through influence, establishing architectural direction, and mentoring senior engineers.

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional teams.

• Proven track record of delivering thoughtful, trustworthy AI-enabled user experiences.

• Strong leadership capabilities at the intersection of frontend engineering, UX, and AI.
