Principal Engineer, Systems – Strategic Expansion

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the product's expansion into new markets

• Develop production systems across the entire technology stack

• Enhance the efficiency and capabilities of every engineer

• Anticipate the platform's needs to prevent potential bottlenecks

• Foster a sense of urgency around product initiatives

• Collaborate with the Product team to establish development priorities

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 12 years of engineering experience

• Hands-on expertise in at least three of the following areas: embedded/IoT, backend services, cloud infrastructure (AWS), event-driven architectures, mobile, and data platforms

• Proven architectural impact achieved through construction

• Comprehension of agentic development methodologies

• Strong product-engineering instincts with a focus on delivery

• Capability to influence seasoned engineers without formal authority
