Principal Engineer, Global Reliability

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Act as the global technical expert for reliability engineering standards, methodologies, and best practices.

• Establish, uphold, and govern enterprise reliability standards, tools, and frameworks.

• Direct the technical implementation and maintenance of Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) for critical asset categories.

• Ensure that critical equipment has documented failure modes, risk-based maintenance strategies, and performance expectations.

• Offer expert advice on predictive maintenance, condition monitoring, and data analytics applications.

• Evaluate performance data to detect systemic failure patterns and suggest permanent corrective measures.

• Lead or assist in Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) for complex or high-risk equipment failures.

• Support capital projects by integrating reliability and maintainability requirements into design, specifications, and asset handover.

• Mentor and influence site reliability engineers through technical coaching and knowledge sharing.

• Collaborate with site, regional, and corporate leaders to enhance OEE, MTBF, MTTR, and asset availability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.

• Over 20 years of experience in industrial or large-scale manufacturing settings.

• More than 10 years of advanced experience in reliability engineering, maintenance engineering, or asset management.

• Recognized proficiency in Reliability-Centered Maintenance, failure elimination, and predictive maintenance.

• Proven experience in influencing reliability practices across various sites or regions.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical communication abilities.

• Experience in supporting global manufacturing operations with diverse asset profiles.

• Knowledge of digital reliability platforms, advanced analytics, and Industry 4.0 concepts.

• Professional engineering licensure or relevant reliability certifications (e.g., CMRP, CRE).
