Principal Engineer, Cloud

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Oversee the creation of cutting-edge AI-native cloud systems from initial concept to beta release.

• Design and develop cloud-based products and prototypes, emphasizing the utilization of GenAI technologies.

• Foster deep technical collaboration with Engineering, Product Management, and Research teams to transform ambiguous business challenges into impactful, scalable solutions.

• Manage the model development process through all phases, from initial research to production-ready implementations.

• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of solutions into production settings.

• Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI-related cloud technologies.

• Serve as a domain expert and mentor for fellow engineers, elevating the standards for cloud engineering and AI innovation throughout the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of practical experience in developing complex cloud solutions in the field of cybersecurity.

• Proven expertise in creating AI-native solutions.

• Successful track record of launching innovative solutions within an enterprise environment.

• Profound understanding of engineering practices and the complete product development lifecycle.

• Extensive technical knowledge of cloud-native development workflows, including Kubernetes, microservices architecture, Python/Golang, agentic development processes, and AWS/GCP.

• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the capacity to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated history of cross-functional collaboration.

• Prior experience as a Staff or Principal Engineer in a top-tier technology company is preferred.

• An advanced degree (MS or PhD) in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field is preferred.
