This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Formulate and implement technical strategies aimed at addressing intricate business challenges, utilizing data and customer insights to prioritize significant enhancements.

β’ Design, architect, and develop robust, high-performance applications utilizing Kotlin, ensuring optimization for security, speed, availability, and reliability.
β’ Elevate standards as a high-throughput, hands-on code contributor exemplifying excellence.
β’ Guide agile development methodologies, encompassing sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
β’ Mentor and support engineers, nurturing a culture focused on continuous improvement, inclusivity, and engineering excellence.
β’ Cultivate and sustain strong partnerships across various business lines, ensuring alignment of technical solutions with strategic goals.
β’ Utilize advanced AI tools to enhance your development workflow, boost velocity, and help pioneer innovative building methods, contributing to a culture of innovation and productivity within the team.
β’ Proven ability to spearhead large, cross-team platform initiatives, establishing technical direction that extends beyond a single team or service.
β’ Expert-level knowledge in Kotlin, Java, and/or JVM languages, with significant achievements in multi-threading/concurrency (extensive experience with coroutines is a plus).
β’ Proficient understanding of card payments, especially EMV standards and technologies.
β’ Experience in managing a large (Android) project/codebase, with a focus on clear domain boundaries, modularity, reusability, and testability.
β’ Documented success in executing complex and robust SDK integrations.
β’ In-depth knowledge of security and key management best practices.
β’ Experience in designing public APIs for seamless consumption.
β’ Proficiency in observability, monitoring, and alerting for intricate user-device interactions.
β’ Strong capability in mentoring a development team on best practices.
β’ Openness and enthusiasm for AI tools to enhance research and development productivity.
