This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Leverage AI-enhanced development tools and frameworks to design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for building, testing, security scanning, and releasing across both unclassified and classified environments.
• Integrate and manage security scanning toolchains as automated stages within the pipeline.
• Employ AI-assisted development workflows on a daily basis and advocate for their usage across teams.
• Participate in the advancement of agentic AI capabilities, focusing on tool orchestration, prompt engineering, and workflow automation.
• Develop tools and automation to facilitate ongoing Authority to Operate processes.
• Create and maintain hardening pipeline templates for delivering secure software by default.
• Provide support for the platform's security pipeline layer.
• Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters in classified settings.
• Set up, configure, and assist with AI-driven development tools for both platform users and internal teams.
• Support AI/ML platform infrastructure as part of the comprehensive platform offerings.
• Implement Infrastructure-as-Code for environment provisioning, cluster lifecycle management, and configuration oversight.
• Assist with multi-cluster management and hub/spoke deployment architectures.
• Configure and troubleshoot network connectivity, Zscaler integration, and Okta/SAML identity federation for platform users.
• Contribute to the evolution of the platform, including self-service namespaces, developer onboarding, and golden-path templates.
• Maintain and enhance multiple production software factory environments catering to diverse federal clients.
• Contribute to runbooks, operational documentation, and incident response protocols.
• Bachelor's degree along with 8+ years of experience; alternatively, 12+ years of hands-on experience may substitute for the degree.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in Software Engineering, DevOps / DevSecOps technologies; at least 3 years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with AI-powered development tools utilized in daily engineering activities.
• Practical experience in CI/CD pipeline development, with a strong preference for GitLab CI.
• Experience in integrating security scanning tools into automated pipelines.
• Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform and/or Ansible).
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Helm, OCI artifacts) and managing container registries.
• Strong skills in Linux systems.
• Solid understanding of Git-based workflows.
• Experience in working within or deploying to classified or air-gapped environments.
• Capacity to manage multiple concurrent projects with varying priorities.
