• Transform unclear platform requirements into incremental technical strategies that balance reliability, security, tenant isolation, developer experience, and long-term maintainability.
• Guide the advancement of data pipelines according to the medallion architecture, enhancing data quality, schema enforcement, lineage, and curated outputs for analytics and product applications.
• Strengthen ingestion processes from external marketing platforms and associated APIs, including connector and reconciliation strategies.
• Design backend services across API pathways and cloud infrastructure, determining how platform functionalities are revealed through stable contracts, streaming workflows, and tool permissions.
• Establish secure authentication, authorization, rate limiting, and multi-tenant access controls across services.
• Produce high-quality, production-ready code and integrate with external APIs, cloud services, and internal microservices.
• Develop and sustain deployment pipelines and infrastructure environments, implementing tracing, structured logging, metrics, and alerting to guarantee reliability, latency, and operational standards.
• Mentor engineers, contribute to internal libraries and backend frameworks, and promote consistency across the platform.
• A minimum of ten years of experience in backend, data platform, or distributed systems, with ownership across multiple services or teams.
• Proficient in Python, API design, service boundaries, asynchronous and concurrent systems, SQL, and contemporary testing practices.
• Familiarity with Databricks, PySpark, Lakehouse patterns, and medallion-style data architecture, or equivalent experience with large-scale data pipelines.
• Extensive AWS serverless experience, including Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, IAM, and CloudFormation/SAM or similar infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Comprehensive understanding of multi-tenant SaaS design, authentication and authorization, tenant-scoped data access, secrets management, and operational security.
• Experience in crafting stable data contracts, CLI/API/MCP contracts, schema evolution patterns, and consumer-facing data models.
• Proficient with SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Redis, or MongoDB.
• Strong experience with CI/CD and in-depth knowledge of observability practices, including logs, metrics, and traces.
• Demonstrated technical leadership through mentoring, architectural decisions, code reviews, trade-off communication, and engineering standards, without relying on direct authority.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
• Competitive salary and performance-based incentives.
• Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.
• Flexible working hours and remote work options.
• Opportunities for professional development and growth.
