Principal Data Architect

📋 Description

• Oversee the design and advancement of the client's lakehouse/data lake framework.

• Offer technical guidance for the architecture and implementation of AI agents designed to help the sales team swiftly access insights on fund performance.

• Establish and drive the strategy for adopting Large Language Models and integrating Generative AI within the client's data infrastructure.

• Serve as the main technical liaison for client leadership and senior business stakeholders.

• Apply and uphold DataOps principles throughout the data platform.

• Mentor and nurture team members, promoting a culture of ongoing learning.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in English – C1 level or higher (essential for independent client interaction and stakeholder communication).

• Demonstrated experience as a Principal Data Architect on extensive data platform initiatives, including the construction, migration, or modernization of data lakes and lakehouse frameworks.

• Extensive knowledge of AWS as the primary cloud service, with hands-on experience in core data services.

• Practical experience with GenAI and Applied AI, encompassing LLMs, RAG, and vector databases.

• Familiarity with Snowflake (including assessing and enhancing existing implementations).

• Strong comprehension of DataOps principles, data governance, and data lifecycle management.

• Background in the Financial Services sector, including asset management, investment funds, fintech, or related fields.
