Principal Clinical Research Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Manage and supervise clinical trial sites across South Africa, Turkey, and Israel.

• Coordinate the delivery of clinical trial monitoring, troubleshoot issues, and enhance team capabilities.

• Lead site management functions, which include site selection, initiation, monitoring, and close-out visits.

• Act as the main contact for clinical sites, addressing their inquiries and resolving issues to ensure site engagement and optimal performance.

• Safeguard the integrity of clinical data through comprehensive source data verification, assessment of site records, and oversight for protocol deviations.

• Mentor and guide CRAs, aiding in their professional growth.

• Collaborate with various cross-functional teams to ensure the effective execution of clinical trials.

• Conduct Oversight Visits.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline or a healthcare-related field.

• Significant experience as a Clinical Research Associate in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or CRO sectors, showcasing a successful history of managing intricate clinical trials.

• Comprehensive knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines, regulatory standards, and clinical trial processes.

• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities, with proficiency in managing and motivating CRAs and site personnel effectively.

• Prior experience as a Lead CRA.

• Experience in reviewing monitoring visit reports.

• Background in oncology (early phase) research.

• Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, along with a proactive attitude towards site performance management and issue resolution.

• Willingness to travel as needed (approximately 60%) to South Africa, Israel, and Turkey.
