This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Engage and coordinate with both internal and external stakeholders to define project scope, system objectives, and requirements.
• Convert business requirements into technical specifications for data utilization and consumption.
• Provide guidance on suitable data platforms, repositories, and databases.
• Map data attributes across various domain models.
• Develop, assess, prioritize, and structure requirements, data mappings, diagrams, data models, and flowcharts for developers and testers.
• Implement and troubleshoot application data pipelines within legacy, modern, and cloud-based architectural frameworks.
• Collaborate with technical leads, developers, the client solutions team, and client stakeholders.
• Actively participate as a contributor in agile/scrum ceremonies.
• Present and discuss technical solutions with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Review current codebases and processes and refactor them for enhancement.
• Typically possesses over 5 years of diverse technical experience in designing and developing data pipelines and data stores.
• Experience in designing data architectures for Business Intelligence and Analytical purposes.
• Understanding of data modeling and data mapping principles.
• Familiarity with Data Warehouse and Data Mart concepts.
• Proficient in TFS, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft SSIS, and Power BI.
• Extensive experience with SQL.
• Significant experience with both relational and non-relational database technologies such as Oracle, MS SQL Server, GraphQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, and ElastiCache.
• Experience with ETL technologies like AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory, and Apache NiFi.
• Knowledge of various data systems and performance tuning strategies.
• Familiarity with architectural principles, including hub and spoke, bus, and event-driven software architectures.
• Working knowledge of Data Science technology stacks.
• Working knowledge of BI data analytical products.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to present technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Capability to review and refactor existing codebases and processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Professional demeanor.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• Consulting experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with big data on cloud platforms is preferred.
• Experience with Python or PowerShell scripting is preferred.
