Principal AI Technologist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as a senior AI security subject matter expert for clients, prospects, partners, and internal teams.

• Assist in conveying Cyera’s AI security vision, platform value, and unique technical approach during customer-facing interactions.

• Participate in high-impact scenarios where advanced AI expertise can significantly enhance technical credibility, positioning, or deal quality.

• Collaborate with Field CTOs on the largest and most strategic projects, while also independently managing AI-focused technical workstreams across the field.

• Engage directly with customer technical and executive stakeholders to comprehend AI initiatives, governance challenges, risk posture, and architectural needs.

• Facilitate AI-focused discovery sessions, technical deep dives, workshops, and strategic POV design.

• Create and present compelling AI security demonstrations, solution narratives, and proof-of-value strategies that align with customer priorities.

• Enhance the technical rigor and consistency of AI-focused POVs and evaluations.

• Provide structured field insights back to Product and Engineering based on strategic customer interactions.

• Collaborate closely with PMM on AI security messaging, positioning, launches, and technical narratives.

• Elevate customer discussions from specific use cases to broader platform and strategic outcomes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in senior technical positions such as Principal Technologist, Principal Solutions Architect, AI Security Architect, Distinguished Sales Engineer, Field Architect, or similar roles.

• Strong customer-facing experience in cybersecurity, cloud security, data security, AI security, or related fields.

• In-depth understanding of contemporary AI and GenAI environments, including enterprise AI adoption patterns, governance challenges, data exposure risks, and security controls.

• Solid understanding of areas such as data security, DSPM, DLP, IAM, cloud security, AI application risk, model and data governance, and security architecture.

• Experience interacting with both technical practitioners and senior stakeholders in complex enterprise settings.

• Capability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business and technical value for customers.

• Demonstrated ability to influence Product, PMM, and technical strategy through field insights and pattern recognition.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentations, workshops, and technical content review.

• Experience in creating demos, POV strategies, technical assets, or enablement materials.

• Comfort in operating within a fast-paced, high-growth environment with cross-functional ambiguity.
