Pre-sales Manager, Field Engineering – Named Accounts

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Denmark.

📋 Description

• Guide, mentor, and cultivate a diverse pre-sales team in Denmark, focusing on both performance and long-term career development.

• Promote a collaborative environment that embodies Databricks' core values of customer orientation, teamwork, and diversity in thought.

• Collaborate with Sales to encourage solution- and value-centric selling, assisting customers in grasping the business implications of our platform.

• Improve team efficiency by establishing and refining best practices that enhance productivity and concentrate on significant business results.

• Develop trusted connections with customer executives and strategic partners, serving as a reliable advisor on data, analytics, and AI.

• Work together with various teams—including Marketing, Sales, Product, and Services—to ensure a smooth customer journey and effective implementation.

• Act as a representative of Databricks within the regional leadership team and help strengthen our brand and presence in Nordic markets.


⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in managing or leading technical teams within Big Data, Cloud, SaaS, or similarly intricate technology sectors, or equivalent experience demonstrating your ability to swiftly learn new technologies.

• A successful history of leading, mentoring, and expanding pre-sales, consulting, or technical field organizations, with a focus on coaching and inclusive leadership.

• Knowledge of consumption-based or subscription business models and the ways in which technical choices impact commercial results.

• Capability to effectively collaborate with Sales and other cross-functional leaders, balancing customer value, technical viability, and business goals.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with fluency in English required and Danish preferred.

• Technical expertise in Data Engineering, Databases, Data Science, or related fields; experience in consulting or customer-facing roles is a plus.

• A genuine curiosity and passion for data, AI, and cloud technologies, along with the ability to convey their business value in clear, inclusive terms.
