This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Develop, enhance, and deliver strategic communication plans that align with business goals.
• Implement comprehensive PR strategies for B2B clients across both earned and owned channels, encompassing media outreach, press releases, bylines, analyst briefings, and award submissions.
• Establish and nurture robust media relationships within trade, business, and technology press that are pertinent to our clients' Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs).
• Create engaging narratives and pitches that secure significant coverage in the publications that influence B2B buyers.
• Support executive positioning initiatives, including media training, thought leadership content, podcast appearances, speaking engagements, and bylined articles.
• Aid in influencer and practitioner briefing programs, such as analyst relations and partnerships with creators aligned to ICPs.
• Contribute to organic social media strategy and content as an extension of integrated communication initiatives, where applicable.
• Leverage media and social monitoring tools to observe trends, identify emerging issues, and reveal opportunities.
• Monitor, assess, and report on program performance against established KPIs, linking PR activities to tangible business outcomes like share of voice and pipeline influence.
• Work collaboratively across various Directive service lines to ensure communication strategies are integrated with broader client objectives.
• Participate in new business proposals and client presentations, acting as a subject matter expert.
• 4–7 years of experience in public relations and communications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, combined with a creative flair.
• Experience in an agency setting is required; experience in B2B or B2B tech is highly preferred.
• Proven track record of securing meaningful media coverage.
• Strong media relationships and the capacity to quickly establish new ones.
• Hands-on experience with executive thought leadership initiatives: bylines, podcasts, speaking opportunities, and contributed content.
• Ability to distill complex B2B narratives into clear, compelling pitches and stories.
• Well-informed on industry news and trends across media and social platforms.
• Proficient in utilizing AI tools to enhance research, targeting, and workflows.
• Willingness to travel to meet clients as necessary.
• Commitment to continuously enhancing PR expertise through independent learning.
• Bachelor's degree in public relations or communications is preferred.
