Post Bar Law Clerk, CA Bar 2027

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Engage in negotiations with lien claimants.

• Operate within a case management system.

• Draft reports for clients.

• Provide summaries of recent case law and updates.

• Execute additional responsibilities as assigned by attorneys.

⛳️ Requirements

• Candidates must be planning to sit for the July 2027 California Bar Exam.

• Successful completion of the MPRE is required by the start of the position in September 2027.

• Approval of Moral Character determination must be obtained by the commencement of the position in September 2027.

• A Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school is necessary.

• Pending results from the California State Bar are required.

• Exceptional writing, proofreading, spelling, and grammar abilities are essential.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Adobe Acrobat, and Dropbox or similar cloud storage solutions is expected.

• Capability to effectively engage with the public, clients, and team members.

• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality while exercising discretion and tact.

• Ability to work independently without specific instruction.

• Highly organized with a keen attention to detail.

• Capacity to perform well under pressure and manage multiple projects at once.

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
