Portuguese Translator, Legal Background

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Analyze and review contracts and legal documents in both Portuguese and English.

• Assist in investigations by examining evidence, pinpointing risk factors, and summarizing outcomes.

• Support Compliance teams with regulatory research, policy evaluations, and risk assessments.

• Offer legal assistance on matters concerning Financial Services and Insurance, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations.

• Collaborate across legal, compliance, risk, and business teams to facilitate ongoing issues.

• Ensure precise documentation while maintaining confidentiality and upholding data protection standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) or Bachelor of Laws (LLB) with proficiency in Brazilian Portuguese.

• Around 3 years of legal experience.

• Proven experience in Investigations, Compliance, Financial Services, or Insurance.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Portuguese and English.

• Capability to deliver clear legal analyses and recognize risk areas.
