Portfolio Manager – ETRM, Analytics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• You will assist in the selection, configuration, and implementation of our new ETRM system, ensuring comprehensive coverage of all trading processes from front to back.

• You will serve as the functional administrator for the system, overseeing master data, curve configurations, and interfaces.

• You will create tools for price calculations, load-profile forecasting, and risk assessment.

• You will monitor the German power and gas markets (both spot and forward) and formulate strategies for effective portfolio management.

• You will convert complex market developments into tradable products for our sales teams and aid in the pricing of structured contracts.

• You will have a commercial mindset and will continuously seek optimal resource allocation to enhance profitability.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Economics, (Business) Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field.

• Demonstrated experience in European energy markets, particularly in Germany, covering balancing energy, intraday, forward/term markets, and Guarantees of Origin.

• Proficient in Python (including libraries such as Pandas and NumPy) and SQL.

• Ideally, experience in implementing or managing common ETRM systems (such as Belvis, Allegro, Endur, Brady, or similar).

• A strong problem-solving mindset.

• Business-fluent in both German and English.
