Platform Development Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee the transition from a functioning prototype to a scalable, multi-user platform.

• Empower client development teams to securely create and enhance reporting agents via controlled APIs and reusable components.

• Direct development efforts across Backend (Python, FastAPI), Frontend (Next.js), and Real-time (WebSockets).

• Revamp an existing Python-based prototype into a modular, production-ready platform.

• Design and implement frameworks for AI agents and reporting workflows.

• Construct orchestration for multi-step execution (both deterministic and AI-driven).

• Facilitate internal/client developers in building and deploying reporting agents.

• Establish access controls and abstraction layers.

• Manage development workflows within Azure DevOps.

• Mentor and support new hires as the team expands.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in Platform Development.

• Extensive experience in Python backend development (FastAPI or similar).

• Proficient in React / Next.js.

• Familiar with WebSockets or real-time systems.

• Experience in building APIs and scalable backend systems.

• Practical knowledge of Azure DevOps (repositories, pipelines, PR workflows).

• Understanding of modular architecture, access control, and system design.

• Capability to work in an early-stage, rapidly evolving environment.
