This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Define, develop, and uphold standardized financial and operational metrics, dashboards, and reports that leadership can depend on for informed decision-making.

• Extract, manipulate, and analyze extensive datasets to reveal trends, anomalies, and actionable insights across finance and accounting processes.

• Act as the primary liaison between finance, accounting, engineering, analytics, and business stakeholders.

• Validate assumptions, enforce data quality standards, and ensure that reporting is precise, consistent, and compliant with internal and regulatory standards (e.g., SOX, GDPR, US GAAP).

• Collaborate with Engineering and data teams to develop source-of-truth data assets and standardized reporting frameworks.

• Assist Accounting through monthly, quarterly, and year-end close cycles by providing accurate reporting, reconciliations, and analysis.

• Plan, scope, and implement enhancements, migrations, and rollouts for reporting and analytics.

• Identify and leverage AI and automation opportunities to expedite analysis, reporting, and insight generation.

• Facilitate audit readiness, documentation, and periodic reviews.


⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in SQL and experience handling large datasets.

• Strong background with BI and visualization tools (such as Tableau, Looker, or Mode) and advanced Excel skills.

• Familiarity with cloud data platforms (like Snowflake) and financial systems (such as Oracle Fusion Financials or NetSuite).

• Solid understanding of financial reporting, accounting workflows, and the closing process, along with knowledge of US GAAP and SOX.

• Excellent communication and storytelling abilities, with the capacity to present complex data clearly to leadership and cross-functional partners.

• A proactive mindset and genuine enthusiasm for utilizing AI to enhance finance and analytics operations.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative or related field (such as Statistics, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, or Information Systems), or equivalent experience.
