Planning Specialist, MID

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Oversee the overall and detailed scheduling of the project/program to maintain timing consistency throughout execution.

• Develop and manage Bulletins and responses related to them.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to prepare governance presentations for product action requests.

• Ensure that targets for labor, validation, and prototype financials are met.

• Lead PMT and Program Reviews.

• Coordinate the vehicle build plan and its delivery to meet vehicle validation needs.

• Oversee the commercial launch strategy (including volumes and timings) in collaboration with the Brand(s), Plant(s), and Purchasing Department.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, or Business from an ABET accredited institution.

• Experience in the automotive industry, either at an OEM or large Tier 1 supplier, in areas such as product development engineering, program management, finance, accounting, or quality.

• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint at an advanced to expert level.

• Comprehensive experience across the full program life cycle.

• Understanding of manufacturing process fundamentals.

• Experience in managing scheduling timelines.

• Proficient in English at an advanced level.
