Physician Advisory Services Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Facilitate peer-to-peer discussions between Treating Providers and Independent Physician Advisors.

• Acquire availability from Treating Providers and/or Independent Physician Advisors.

• Organize calls while considering different time zones.

• Utilize calls, email, and text to manage peer-to-peer conversations.

• Collaborate with the CSR team to enable discussions based on the availability provided.

• Respond to Window of Opportunities from clients or Treating Providers.

• Document and monitor referral notes for all communications among staff, Treating Providers, and/or IPA reviewers.

• Regularly update clients regarding scheduled, pending, and missed calls.

• Handle physician-office faxes within 2 hours of receiving them to arrange calls with reviewing physicians.

• Record availability, upload faxes into referrals, and refresh the availability tracking sheet.

• Carry out additional duties and special projects as needed according to business requirements.

• An Associate’s Degree is preferred.

• Experience in a healthcare and/or insurance environment is preferred.

• Outstanding communication abilities.

• Solid understanding of company business lines.

• Strong critical thinking skills.

• Capability to manage time effectively and adhere to specific deadlines.

• Proficiency in computer use.

• Competent typing skills.

• Ability to provide and support personal internet services while working from home.

• Maintaining a continuous internet connection is essential.

• Capacity to work for extended periods while seated and using a computer.
