β’ Perform screenings, evaluations, assessments, and treatments in alignment with state practice regulations, care plans, and company guidelines.
β’ Assist in enhancing functional mobility, independence, and overall quality of life for the senior population.
β’ Timely and accurately complete all necessary documentation.
β’ Engage in mandatory orientations, staff meetings, and in-service training.
β’ Collaborate with the Director of Rehabilitation to establish a comprehensive therapy program.
β’ Provide clinical oversight to Therapy Assistants as required.
β’ Adhere to all infection control protocols and OBRA Resident Rights Guidelines.
β’ Exhibit sound clinical judgment and efficiently prioritize patient care.
β’ Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations.
β’ Undertake duties that may require moderate to heavy physical effort.
β’ Execute additional responsibilities as assigned.
β’ Possess a current or eligible Physical Therapist license in the state of practice.
β’ Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program.
β’ For foreign-trained candidates, the degree must be assessed as equivalent to U.S. entry-level PT education by an APTA-approved credentialing agency.
