Physical Therapist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Assess patients’ functional abilities, mobility, muscle strength, gait, and range of motion to create tailored treatment plans.

• Provide physical therapy services in alignment with the physician’s care plan and in compliance with California’s Physical Therapy Practice Act.

• Inform patients and their families or caregivers about therapeutic exercises, the use of equipment, and recovery objectives.

• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team—reporting any changes in patient status and participating in case conferences.

• Oversee Physical Therapy Assistants and, when physical therapy is the only skilled service, supervise Home Health Aide care bi-weekly.

• Manage documentation, including clinical progress notes and discharge planning.

• Assess the need for additional home health services and coordinate referrals as necessary.

• Carry out other responsibilities as needed for patient care.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Valid California Physical Therapy license.

• At least 2 years of experience in physical therapy; home health experience is preferred.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with patients and their families.

• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.

• Valid driver’s license and a reliable, insured vehicle.
