Physical Therapist Assistant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Provide hands-on physical therapy under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, adhering to each patient's care plan.

• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait and transfer training, and the use of assistive devices such as wheelchairs, braces, crutches, canes, and prosthetics.

• Implement physical modalities including heat, cold, ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and massage to alleviate pain and enhance functionality.

• Track patient progress and relay any changes to the Physical Therapist and care team.

• Accurately document care in a timely manner and engage in team meetings and continuous training.

• Carry out additional responsibilities as necessary for patient services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate's degree from a Physical Therapy Assistant program accredited by the APTA.

• Active PTA license issued by the Physical Therapy Board of California.

• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).

• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

• Valid driver's license, reliable insured vehicle, and readiness to travel to patient residences.
