Physical Security Evaluator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Perform comprehensive physical security assessments of all data facilities within a designated region.

• Record identified vulnerabilities and ensure that effective mitigation actions address each security gap.

• Create clear and concise evaluation reports, including documentation of the physical security status at Vultr locations.

• Collaborate with Vultr Security teams and clients to review security documentation and enhance understanding of physical security standards and policies within practical environments.

• Investigate, develop, and assess new technologies and security measures applicable to existing security processes and data facility settings.

• Support the global Physical Security Team in defining the strategic direction of the Vultr Physical Security Program.

• Keep Physical Security leadership updated on stakeholder and customer engagement status, unresolved issues, and significant activities.

• Remain informed about industry trends, events, and innovations.

• Establish and nurture relationships with key industry professionals and equipment manufacturers.

• Understanding of cloud computing principles and data center environments.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the capability to engage effectively at technical, business, and executive levels.

• Proven ability to work proactively and independently, meet deadlines, and complete projects and assigned tasks.

• Familiarity with physical security best practices.

• Experience in the application of security systems.

• Knowledge of investigation techniques.

• Management of contract security personnel.

• Skills in incident management.

• Ability to assess access control, intrusion detection, and CCTV surveillance systems.

• Applicants must reside in the United States.
