This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
β’ Deliver care to patients, providers, and customers.
β’ Utilize the pharmacy computer system to enhance patient care.
β’ Engage in care activities that do not necessitate pharmacist expertise.
β’ Prepare and label medications for distribution purposes.
β’ Retrieve, assess, and oversee inventory for medications and supplies.
β’ Keep pharmacy records up to date.
β’ Carry out housekeeping responsibilities in accordance with hospital and accreditation standards.
β’ Assist in the onboarding and training of new pharmacy staff.
β’ Adhere to job-specific duties and organizational policies and procedures.
β’ High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is mandatory.
β’ A minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience is essential.
β’ Certification as a Pharmacy Technician within 2 years through PTCB or NHA is required.
β’ Must be registered as a Pharmacy Technician Trainee, Pharmacy Technician, or Pharmacy Intern with the Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy.
β’ Proficient in computer skills.
β’ Familiarity with the healthcare regulatory landscape is necessary.
β’ Knowledge of pharmaceutical names is essential.
β’ Must be able to work 40 scheduled hours per week.
β’ Regular, non-exempt employment status is required.
