This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.
• Achieve and surpass set sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis through dedicated efforts and strategic planning.
• Conduct targeted sales initiatives including cold calling, face-to-face meetings, and client presentations to secure new business and grow your customer base.
• Build and sustain a strong portfolio of clients, ensuring high renewal rates and long-term satisfaction through proactive relationship management.
• Utilize top-tier sales and marketing tools to identify potential clients, monitor opportunities, and implement effective campaigns.
• Collaborate efficiently with Client Service teams to assess renewal business, pinpoint cross-sell opportunities, and seamlessly onboard new accounts.
• Act as a subject matter expert in personal insurance products, remaining informed about industry trends and best practices to offer clients customized solutions.
• Guide and mentor less experienced Producers, sharing sales techniques and assisting them throughout the production process to promote team success.
• Keep thorough records and analytics to evaluate performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and refine sales strategies.
• Adhere to established sales methodologies and best practices, leveraging company tools and sales management platforms to enhance efficiency and transparency.
• Valid state-issued Property and Casualty or Life and Health Insurance Producer License.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Sales, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5+ years of demonstrated experience in an insurance sales role, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales objectives.
• Proficiency in professional software applications such as Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
• Strong analytical abilities to interpret data, recognize trends, and make informed, data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication skills both internally and externally, with a talent for building rapport and maintaining professional relationships.
• Proven time management and organizational skills to effectively manage multiple clients and priorities.
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving capabilities with a customer-centered approach.
• Familiarity with personal insurance products, including auto, homeowners, umbrella, and related coverage types.
• Ability to work autonomously while thriving in a collaborative, team-driven environment.
• An assertive yet empathetic sales approach, with a genuine interest in understanding client needs and providing effective solutions.
