Personal Financial Counselor, Assignment Ready Counselor, PFC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Dakota.

📋 Description

• Deliver personal financial advisory and management services directly to service members and their families.

• Support service members in creating a budget plan for extended deployments.

• Create and distribute informative financial resources to service members and their families.

• Organize, promote, and conduct a diverse range of Personal Financial Management classes and workshops.

• Employ virtual counseling or other electronic communication methods.

• Handle duty to warn scenarios in accordance with Department of Defense (DoD) protocols.

• Engage with leadership and take part in regular supervisory meetings.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree is mandatory.

• Consideration may be given to candidates with an associate degree and 4 years of experience as a substitute for a bachelor's degree.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in financial counseling is required.

• Candidates must be U.S. citizens and possess fluency in English.

• If specified by the contract, proficiency in both English and Spanish is necessary.

• Ability to pass a favorably adjudicated Tier 2 investigation is essential.

• One of the following certifications is required: Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC).
