This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.
• Deliver assistance during short-term, surge, and on-demand scenarios resulting from military requirements.
• Offer personal financial counseling services to military personnel and their families at various military installations.
• Conduct briefings and presentations, or provide referral resources to participants.
• Create and distribute informational financial materials for service members and their families.
• Organize, promote, and facilitate a diverse range of Personal Financial Management classes and workshops.
• Engage with leadership and take part in regular individual and group supervision.
• A bachelor's degree is mandatory.
• Candidates with an associate degree and 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
• Applicants with a high school diploma and 6 years of experience may also be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in financial counseling is required.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and possess fluent English language skills.
• If specified by the contract, bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
• Ability to obtain a favorably adjudicated Tier 2 investigation is necessary.
• Must successfully pass the Congressionally Mandated Disclosures for Organizational Conflicts of Interest (OCI) process.
• One of the following certifications is required: Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC).
