This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Perform thorough and impartial reviews of medical charts with integrity and transparency.
• Generate determinations that are succinct, clear, and well-supported by relevant evidence.
• Adhere to MMRO’s review templates, ensuring all necessary components are complete and precise.
• Present findings in a professional manner, utilizing appropriate language and grammar.
• Complete assigned reviews within designated timelines.
• Respond swiftly to communications from MMRO staff.
• Review and comply with corporate training materials and established review standards.
• Be open to constructive feedback from MMRO’s Medical Director, Associate Medical Director, and Clinical Staff.
• Offer suggestions for process improvement and quality enhancement.
• A current, unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. state or territory.
• Ongoing board certification by a board recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA).
• At least five years of full-time equivalent experience in providing direct clinical care to patients.
• Full-time equivalent experience is defined as 37.5–40 hours per week.
• Recent clinical experience within the last three years.
• Must be physically situated within the United States or its territories while performing reviews.
• Qualification as a pediatric rheumatology physician.
• Capability to complete reviews within specified deadlines.
• Ability to communicate findings in a professional manner using appropriate language and grammar.
• Ability to respond promptly to communications from MMRO staff.
• Ability to adhere to corporate training materials, review templates, and review standards.
• Must be open to constructive feedback.
