This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Identify and acquire new merchant clients in the Retail, Hospitality, Healthcare, and Public Sector sectors.
• Perform product demonstrations and effectively communicate the value proposition of MPS solutions.
• Oversee the sales pipeline utilizing Salesforce and other CRM systems.
• Negotiate pricing and contract terms to successfully close deals.
• Establish and nurture long-term client relationships.
• Implement customer retention strategies to minimize churn and enhance satisfaction.
• Act as a trusted advisor by delivering customized business insights and solutions.
• Recognize and pursue opportunities in high-growth regions and sectors.
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitive shifts, and regulatory developments.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and promotional offer guidelines.
• Keep accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.
• Drive revenue growth through direct engagement as MPS adopts a direct distribution approach.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Two to three years of relevant sales experience.
• Willingness to travel.
• 3–5 years of direct sales experience preferred, ideally in payments, financial services, or SaaS.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets is preferred.
• Strong understanding of merchant services and payment processing is preferred.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills are preferred.
• Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM platforms is preferred.
• Familiarity with MPS platforms and U.S. Bank distribution channels is advantageous.
• Regional market knowledge in the Southern U.S. is beneficial.
• Must comply with U.S. Bank policies, procedures, Code of Ethics and Business Conduct, as well as workplace conduct and safety policies.
• Must meet applicable employment eligibility verification and background-check requirements.
