Payment & Fraud Analytics Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malta.

📋 Description

• Oversee our payment and fraud analytics strategy, driving data-driven decisions that enhance financial performance and safeguard our gaming ecosystem.

• Establish and implement a vision for payment analytics that transcends standard reporting to offer predictive insights, thereby improving success rates and conversions.

• Utilize SQL to analyze payment data and develop engaging dashboards with Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker to support strategic decision-making.

• Execute strategies aimed at decreasing payment declines, recovering failed transactions, and pinpointing conversion bottlenecks.

• Spearhead chargeback mitigation initiatives by examining trends and instituting automated triggers to shield merchant accounts.

• Create detection logic to uncover bonus abuse, multi-accounting behaviors, and synthetic identities.

• Work alongside cross-functional teams to develop risk-scoring models that balance security with player experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in SQL with experience in data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, and Looker.

• Demonstrated experience in the gambling sector, especially in payments and fraud analytics.

• A "Player-Coach" mentality with a proven track record of managing teams while remaining actively engaged in data analysis.

• Proficiency in Python is a strong plus for advanced analytics and modeling.

• Exceptional analytical thinking skills with a keen eye for detail.

• Strong collaboration and communication abilities for effective cross-functional partnerships.
