📋 Description

• Patient Communication and Coordination: Enhance patient engagement by managing appointment scheduling, responding to inquiries, and keeping precise patient records using OpenDental and other relevant software.

• Insurance Claims Processing: Utilize your knowledge of insurance claim processes to aid in the accurate and efficient handling of claims, ensuring prompt reimbursement for dental services.

• Software Proficiency: Employ OpenDental, Dentrix, EagleSoft, CurveDental, Denticon, or other applicable software platforms to oversee patient information, appointments, billing, and insurance details.

• Appointment Scheduling: Organize patient appointments, optimizing the scheduling system to manage patient flow in conjunction with provider availability.

• Billing and Financial Support: Work with patients to clarify treatment costs, address billing inquiries, and explain insurance coverage, ensuring a clear understanding of financial responsibilities.

• Patient Education: Inform patients about recommended treatments, oral hygiene practices, and post-treatment care, improving their understanding and compliance.

• Workflow Optimization: Enhance practice efficiency by refining administrative processes, keeping accurate records, and supporting the dental team's requirements.

• Documentation: Keep comprehensive and orderly records, including patient histories, treatment plans, and insurance documentation.

• Collaboration: Coordinate with the dental team to ensure smooth patient care and effective practice operations.

• Customer Service Excellence: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient concerns, maintaining a positive attitude, and fostering a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a dental practice or healthcare environment, focusing on patient engagement, appointment scheduling, and administrative support.

• Essential proficiency in OpenDental. Previous experience with Dentrix, EagleSoft, CurveDental, Denticon, or similar dental practice management software is highly preferred.

• Ideally, prior experience in processing insurance claims within a dental practice setting.

• Dental Practice Software Proficiency: Proven experience with OpenDental is crucial. Familiarity with Dentrix, EagleSoft, CurveDental, Denticon, or similar software is a significant plus.

• Experience in processing insurance claims within a dental practice environment is preferred.

• Patient-Centric Approach: A strong dedication to patient satisfaction, communication, and engagement.

• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to ensure effective interactions with patients, team members, and insurance providers.

• **Minimum Technical and Work Environment Requirements:**

• Internet Connection: Primary internet connection with a minimum speed of **15 Mbps**. Backup internet connection with at least **10 Mbps**. Backup connection must support work during power outages.

• Primary Device: Desktop or laptop with at least: **Intel Core i5 (8th generation or newer)**, **Intel Core i3 (10th generation or newer)**, **AMD Ryzen 5**, or equivalent processor. A minimum of **8 GB RAM** is required.

• Backup Device: Must meet or exceed the performance of an **Intel Core i3** processor and be functional during power interruptions.
