Patient Access Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.

📋 Description

• Oversee a case load for a designated program

• Input and assess new patient cases in the system database

• Regularly liaise with the physician’s office and their personnel

• Keep precise and current records on the Salesforce platform to guarantee accurate client reporting.

• Execute the complete patient access procedure as specified by the program's SOP

• Conduct benefits verification and payer identification

• Submit prior authorization and pre-service review requests

• Ensure adherence to all regulatory and company policies.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; an Associate’s degree is preferred.

• At least 2 years of experience in a healthcare environment, ideally in authorization or billing.

• Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance procedures.

• Outstanding communication and organizational abilities.

• Capability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.
