Patient Access / Patient Registration Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Interact with patients, referral sources, sales teams, pharmacy, and nursing to facilitate discharge and ensure nursing and delivery services.

• Generate, communicate, and procure all necessary documentation for new referrals.

• Secure upfront payments from patients and guide them to financial assistance programs as required.

• Aid in activities to maintain clean claims on hold and manage denials, including following up on missing documentation.

• Assist the Supervisor and Manager with special projects as needed.

• Manage referrals, intake documentation, and cross-departmental communication for Specialty and Acute Infusion Services.

• Promote timely access to therapy and deliver a consistent experience for patients and referral partners.

• A high school diploma or equivalent is necessary.

• A minimum of two years of relevant experience is required.

• Capability to multitask and manage multiple referrals and priorities simultaneously.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

• Detail-oriented with a strong emphasis on quality.

• Excellent customer service skills.

• Proficient in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and collaborating with cross-functional sales and operations teams.

• Prior experience in healthcare or medical billing is preferred.
