Part-time Faculty, Marriage and Family Therapy – Department Chair

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Deliver comprehensive and timely feedback to students regarding their assessment tasks.

• Foster a positive, secure, inclusive, and student-focused learning atmosphere.

• Meet all deadlines for required responsibilities, including final grades, assessments, grading rubrics, and feedback on grade appeals.

• Engage in necessary professional training and scholarly activities as applicable.

• Offer insights to the course lead about the course material.

• Recognize students who are at risk and work in collaboration with student services.

• Collaborate closely with the Academic Program Director and fellow faculty members to enhance program quality, boost student engagement, and promote student success.

⛳️ Requirements

• A doctoral degree focused on couple/marriage and family therapy or a related discipline is essential.

• Proven record of publications in research-based, scholarly, peer-reviewed journals.

• Experience in the online delivery of education and associated support systems.

• Previous involvement as a member of a dissertation committee, ideally in the role of chair or advisor.

• Preferred experience in teaching graduate-level qualitative methods, quantitative methods, or statistics.

• A cover letter is mandatory.

• A curriculum vitae is required.

• A statement detailing online and/or onsite teaching experience for a diverse student population is necessary.
