Part-Time Eating Disorder Registered Dietitian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Offer virtual, individualized nutrition counseling to adolescents and adults facing eating disorders and other dietary issues or health conditions.

• Operate within a non-diet, weight-inclusive, and culturally sensitive care framework.

• Provide Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) and evidence-based interventions tailored to each patient's specific needs.

• Accurately document care in a timely manner using our secure digital platform during the allocated paid administrative time in your schedule.

• Work collaboratively with therapists, physicians, and other members of the care team to facilitate integrated, patient-centered treatment.

• Engage in team meetings, consultation groups, and opportunities for professional growth.

• Maintain a private and secure remote workspace equipped with reliable high-speed internet.

⛳️ Requirements

• Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) with an active state RD license.

• At least 8 years of experience providing registered dietitian care post-internship.

• Ability to maintain a consistent weekly schedule of 20 hours spread across a minimum of 3 days.

• Strong alignment with Health at Every Size (HAES), anti-diet principles, and body-liberation frameworks.

• Dedicated to providing trauma-informed, equity-centered care.

• Capable of addressing a wide range of nutritional issues, diseases, and conditions.

• Preferred: Licensed RD in WA, OR, TX, NY, or in a Compact State (OH, TN, OK, AL, UT, IA, KS, MS, AR, NE, SD, ND, MT).

• 3 years of outpatient experience in treating eating disorders.

• CEDS or CEDS-C credential, or actively pursuing it.

• Certification in Intuitive Eating, Body Trust, or a similar program.

• Certification as an Inclusive Eating Disorder Education Specialist (IEDES).

• Experience working with adolescent and pediatric populations.

• Familiar with ACT, motivational interviewing, or somatic approaches.
