
Outside Sales Representative – Powersports

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Achieve category goals and overall sales revenue objectives for the assigned region.
• Accountable for selling, merchandising, and sustaining inventory levels of products for both existing and prospective clients.
• Conduct regular personal sales visits to an established client base.
• Maintain a schedule for weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales calls and travel.
• Collaborate with accounts to effectively oversee inventory management.
• Provide ongoing product training to account staff.
• Follow up with all accounts to ensure customer needs are met and document the outcomes of proposed solutions.
• Generate profitable sales orders during client visits.
• Uphold ethical and cooperative relationships with manufacturers that align with the company’s image and goals in the marketplace.
• Address customer requirements for B2B web training, catalogs, product pricing, images, product descriptions, etc.
• Communicate all relevant company policies, procedures, and initiatives to customers.
• Report customer feedback to management.
• Coordinate customer warranty returns and ensure timely completion of proper documentation.
• Assist accounts with merchandising, seasonal POP updates, and custom POP requirements.
• Develop merchandising strategies for both existing and new accounts.
• Identify prospective customers and business opportunities within current and new accounts.
• Establish and nurture customer relationships to enhance profitable sales.
• Introduce, demonstrate, and train account staff on new products.
• Relay competitive conditions and customer feedback to management.
• Participate in sales meetings and product training to enhance product knowledge.
• Foster a productive working relationship with Inside Sales Associates, Counter Sales Associates, Parts Managers, GM’s, and support personnel; encourage and assist in their training and development when possible.
• Timely completion of sales call sheets, expense reports, tracking reports, etc., in accordance with company policy.
• Develop and maintain a sales forecast to analyze market conditions or changes in the assigned territory for optimal productivity and sales growth.
• Implement a sales strategy to support sales and profitability objectives.
• Stay updated on existing and emerging products and technologies.
• Conduct sales activities in an ethical and professional manner, ensuring a positive impression of oneself and the company.
• Maintain a professional appearance and work environment, including vehicle.
• Regularly communicate schedule to the Field Sales Director.
• Perform other duties as assigned or required to ensure successful job completion.
• Bachelor’s degree or a related field with a minimum of three years of relevant sales and/or experience in the bicycle or outdoor industry.
• Demonstrated proficiency in using personal computers, with a strong aptitude for technical applications (Microsoft Office 365, etc.).
• Established knowledge of the industry within the specified market.
• Experience with Lightspeed, Ascend, or other POS software.
• General understanding of motocross, supercross, off-road motorcycle riding, and mountain biking.
• Strong orientation towards customer service.
• A valid driver's license and a proven record of safe driving.
