Outreach and Admissions Counselor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wyoming.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain ongoing collaborations with educational institutions, youth organizations, community centers, social service providers, and local businesses.

• Engage in and frequently take the lead on outreach activities, presentations, information sessions, tabling events, festivals, and community fairs.

• Adhere to a regular monthly outreach timetable and fulfill required activity levels.

• Advocate for opportunities aimed at underserved and underrepresented demographics in your locality.

• Familiarize young adults with the program and assist them in assessing their eligibility based on criteria such as age, income background, and education status.

• Uphold strict confidentiality and privacy while gathering personal information.

• Precisely input new leads into tracking systems, ensuring that all data is complete, valid, and thoroughly documented.

• Assist prospective applicants through the application process step-by-step until they are prepared to submit their applications.

• Maintain regular communication with your pipeline through phone calls, text messages, emails, and in-person meetings.

• Aid the team in achieving high conversion rates from leads to applicants to arrivals.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a 2-year degree is required (Bachelor’s degree is preferred).

• Proven experience in community outreach, youth engagement, sales, customer service, recruiting, or related fields.

• Strong proficiency with online systems, digital communication, and data entry.

• Ability to work independently with excellent follow-through and time management skills.

• A valid driver's license and the capacity to travel daily within your assigned county.

• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality, accuracy, and professionalism at all times.

• Current valid Driver's License is mandatory.
