OT Developer – OpenText Exstream

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, debug, and implement enhancements for both new and existing applications.

• Construct and maintain solutions utilizing OpenText Exstream and OpenText Exstream Cloud Native.

• Configure and deploy OpenText Exstream applications within Linux environments.

• Create and execute automated unit and integration tests.

• Adhere to software engineering best practices and contribute to Continuous Integration (CI) pipelines.

• Collaborate with QA teams and business users to validate solutions and address reported issues.

• Conduct code reviews to enhance code quality and application performance.

• Efficiently troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges.

• Prepare, package, and deploy application code across various environments.

• Develop and maintain technical documentation while ensuring effective knowledge transfer.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in software development.

• More than 7 years of hands-on experience with OpenText Exstream and OpenText Exstream Cloud Native.

• Proven experience in configuring and deploying applications in Linux environments.

• Strong scripting skills in Perl.

• Comprehensive understanding of XML.

• Experience with the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Practical experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.

• Solid understanding of all stages of application development.

• Experience in conducting code reviews and optimizing application performance.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar combination of education and experience.

• Professional working proficiency in English (C1 or equivalent).
